Minimum hardware and software requirements for operation of OCS software, please use the tabs below to review the Server, Client or Cloud requirements.
After the December 2020 release of OCS HR & Self Service, Mintra cannot guarantee full functionality for customers running the OCS system on Oracle versions older than 12c Release 2 (12.2).
Our recommended Oracle version is 19c or later

1) The CPU socket configuration will affect the Oracle licensing
2) Each Oracle SID requires at least 1 GB RAM
3) 100 GB available space for database and backups; 20% free space after installation; required space will depend on the size and number of scanned documents/certificates added per person in the database; it is advised to separate OS, data, logs and backups
4) When using OCS to send out e-mails to employees this can be set up in different ways. If the solution selected is an external e-mail client - and not using the functionality in OCS service - the external client needs to be 32 bit.
