10. WPS report for UAE

According to United Arab Emirates (UAE) legislation, all employers must subscribe to Wages Protection System (WPS). This report is mandatory for the process.

The report is named 2518 and can be found under Philippine payroll.

Open Basic data|Reports|Report information and make sure that the report has been made available (In use).

Open Basic data|User setup|Report menu. Identify the report under Philippine payroll, make the report accessible for the relevant users.

The report uses Nation ID codes for Company and employment, and this must be updated. Open Basic data|Number series|National id codes.

Enter the following values:

The company code then can be set in Basic data|Company. Select the company and press “Actions”. Under National ID codes the “WPS Company code” can be set.

The “Ministry of Labor ID” can be set on each person by opening the person view, selecting the tab “Passport”.

The report requires a setup of pay elements. Basic data|Statistics|Statistics type. Enter the following values:

Open Basic data|Statistics|Statistics column

Enter the following values:

Open Basic data|Statistics|Statistics pay elements.

Enter all pay elements that should be a part of the two calculations.

Note that only employees with a bank account that has priority 100 will be included in the report.
