When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Assignments' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section (left side menu). Click on available assignment (colored blue) and find the user you want to assign the respective assessment version to. Then click 'Save'. The assignment will turn yellow, and it is now assigned to the user.
When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Assignments' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section (left side menu). There you will be able to see all the licenses available and their status. Different colors show different status; clarification on each status can be seen at top menu bar.
When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Assignments' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section (left side menu). Click on the yellow assignment of the End User you want to make changes. When you click on the assignment you have the option to delete the user to whom you have assigned the assessment and click 'Save'.
When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Assignments' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section (left side menu). Click on the yellow assignment of the End User you want to make changes to. When you click on the assignment you can go to the user section and search for the End User you want to assign the assessment to. Then click 'Save'.
When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Reports' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section. Then select your company and the type of assessment for which you want to see the reports. Then, the results for all the End Users who have completed the respective assessment will be visible to you.
When Logged into the Platform, click on the 'Passing scores' button on the SafeMetrix 3S/Safemetrix CSS section. Then click 'New' on the top left of your screen. Select the skill for which you want to set a passing score and then the rank you want to target. Insert the passing score you want and click save.
When Logged into the Platform, click on the 'Passing scores' button on SafeMetrix 3S/Safemetrix CSS section. Then select the existing score you want to change. Change the passing score and click save.
When logged into the Platform, click on the 'Reports' button on SafeMetrix 3S/SafeMetrix CSS section. Then select your company and the type of assessment for which you want to see the reports. Then, on the right side you can select the 'export csv' option to download an excel file with the stanine scores of all the end users who have completed the respective type of assessment.
SafeMetrix offers three options to calculate the scores of an individual:
When an assessment has been assigned to your account, you will receive an email notification to your registered email address with a link to the assessment. Or else you can log into the application by following this link. On your dashboard you will see the courses and assessments that have been assigned to you. You may enter the selected assessment by clicking “Go to assessment”.
If the assessment is not completed, either due to an interrupted internet connection, technical issue or any other reason, you will still be able to resume the assessment from where you left off.
As an End User you will not be able to see the results of your assessment. The results will be available only to the Company that assigned the assessment to you.
MET-3S (Soft Skills for Seafarers) is valid for 24 months and should be retaken afterwards to reflect the current level of the soft skills of the seafarer.
The average time for completing the MET-3S is about 45 minutes.
MET-CSS (Cognitive Skills for Seafarers) is valid for 4 years and should be retaken after this 4-year period ends, to reflect the current level of the cognitive skills of the seafarer.
The average time for completing the MET-CSS is around 35 minutes.
