About an external course

• The course is accessed through an external link.
• Enrolment and course completion takes place outside of Trainingportal.
• To creat external courses, go to "Courses" tab.

Create external course

• 1. Click Create course.
  2. Fill inn the form.
  3. Click Save and Quit.
  4. In the tab Overview click on Add component and select External link.
  5. Click on Continue and type in the address.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click on the tab Details and see that course type is External course.
  8. In the tab Details, click on Edit to change the course status to Published. By publishing the course it will be awailable in the course catalogue.

To change the link to the external course, click Add component and then Edit.
