Roles require certain competence groups or competencies. These requirements must be met for a user to qualify for a role.

Requirements

Both competence groups and competences can be added as requirements for a role. Read about how to Add competence or course.

Normally it is required to fulfill all the requirements in the role to qualify for the role, but it is possible to define competence groups and or competencies that are not mandatory.

Example: Role and requirements for the role

To qualify for the role Medic, you must in this example have completed the following requirements:

• Fulfilled the competence requirement Basic HSE.
• Completed the competence group ABC first aid, which again requires the competence ABC – first aid field practice and the course ABC – first aid.
• Completed the competence group Heart Start, which requires the competencies Heart Start – on-site training and Heart Start – theory. A role has the following details that can be set:
