Once you have created a Competence Role, you will then be able to add requirements for the student to complete in order to be marked as Competent in their Role.

Adding Requirements from Catalogue

First, you will navigate to the Competence Role that you have created & then select the "Requirements" section located on the left side of the page. Once here, select the "Add Competence From Catalogue" icon located in the top right.

Once selected, this will load the Competence Catalogue for you to select the competences that you wish to add as requirements for this role. Once you select a competence, you will then be able to define if it should be a mandatory requirement to complete or not. Once you have selected the requirements that you wish to add as requirements, select "Save" at the bottom of the page & these requirements will then be added to the Role.

Adding Courses as a Requirement

If the Competence Catalogue that you have selected is a mixed catalogue (Training/ Competence), you will be able to add training courses as requirements by selecting the "Add Course" icon.

Once you select this, you will be shown the Active Courses for your Portal & you will be able to select the courses that you wish to add as requirements for this Role. Once you have selected the courses that you wish to include in this role, select "Save" to add these courses.

Adding New Competence

If you would like to create a new Competence to add to the Role, this can be completed by selecting the "Add New Competence" icon.

You will then receive the option of creating a Competence Group, Competence, Checklist or Test to add to the Competence Role. Once you have added the name of the requirement & optionally added a description, select "Create Competence" and this will be added to the Role. You will then be able to access the newly created competence to configure it to your specifications.
